The Band of Gold comprise of Shannon Borne and Shane Reilly on guitar, Steve Hadley on bass, Dave Foley on drums and Rachael Tidd and Tex Perkins on the throat. These are some of the countrys most accomplished musicians and performers, who will perform songs from their debut release. Audience members may note that this is the same band as the Tennessee Four, who performed kick-arse shows with Tex in The Man in Black shows.
The debut release sees the band putting their stamp of country classics, by masters such as Kristofferson, Van Zandt, Haggard, Guy Clark and George Jones and has been recorded in the style of the era simple, well played and effectively powerful.
